They say I am a storyteller with a boundless imagination.
I see myself as a maker of tales, a creator of characters who are like good friends, an artist whose mediums include miniatures, and an interior designer who creates beautiful spaces. I am a lover of land, gardens, greenhouses, and the natural world. I’m also an award-winning author whose literary medium is fantasy, but my stories are based loosely on the experiences and events of real-life people I know and have known.
I’ll offer occasional musings on writing, creativity, and my life as an author of novels filled with fantasy, as a small acreage farmer, and as an innkeeper. Sometimes we call our historic property a funny farm but it’s definitely a place where authenticity isn’t a cliche. It’s a daily occurrence.
